Exactmix UK invests in new IVECO trucks at Charles Feijts Group
Exactmix - Whitehare Aggregates Ltd. based in Basildon England has recently expanded its fleet with two special IVECO chassis. The delivery is the first part of an order of 4. The chassis are custom built and supplied by Charles Feijts Group in Born, the Netherlands.
CFG delivered a TRAKKER AD410T45 right-hand drive in a 10x4 configuration and a STRATOR ADN410T45 right-hand drive in an 8x4 configuration.
The TRAKKER is fitted with three controlled axles, each of 10 tonnes, which are mounted at a mutual distance of 1.870 mm and 1.820 mm. Also, the distance between the third steering axle and the driven tandem is 1.820 mm. This way there is optimal use of the minimum legal axle distances to be able to realize the maximum axle load The vehicle is very compact in terms of total length, and has a balanced load on the five axles. The GVW is 49 tons, 56 tons of technical capacity.
The STRATOR has the standard 9 tons front axles and a 26 tons driven tandem. The GVW is 37 tons, 44 tons of technical capacity.
The truck operates with the efficient IVECO Cursor 13 engine with 450 HP and EEV emission, without using a particle filter. The transmission is an automated 16-speed ZF AS-Tronic.
Father and son Whitehare came in contact with CFG for the replacement of their Scania 8x4 T-series. During their visit in Born they were very interested in the other activities in the workshops. A 6x4 with newly installed 10 ton axle and an 8x4 with newly installed 10 ton mid-axle gave them inspiration.
In specific cases it is possible to register a vehicle on technical axle loads. The Exactmix configuration complies with this legislation. The new chassis will be provided with a Bay-Lynx volumetric mixer, which produces concrete "on the spot". The vehicles will join Exactmix own fleet.
Charles Feijts Group is located in the south part of The Netherlands, and is official partner for IVECO, FIAT and ISUZU trucks and vans.
Since 2007 CFG is building new bullnose trucks in all possible configurations, and to specific customer requirements. CFG is the only producer for bullnose trucks in Europe. The concept is based on the Iveco Powerstar, produced by Iveco in Australia in a limited number of 6x4 configurations for the local market.
